Montreal, Canada, July 20, 2006 – Metafoam Technologies Inc. is proud to announce that it has signed a licensing agreement with the Industrial Materials Institute (IMI) of Canada’s National Research Council (NRC) for the development, production, and commercialization of metal foams through their patented manufacturing process. This licence agreement adds to Metafoam’s technology and patents portfolio and allows the company to produce open-cell metal foams with the industry's largest surface area and lowest production costs.
